In honor of Día de los Muertos, take the afternoon to remember a loved one in this workshop with artist Cynthia Huerta, founder of Love with Joy Art Club. Using foil, participants will create and decorate a metal nicho (shadowbox) to house a photo of a loved one who has passed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photograph, no larger than 4” x 6”. Love with Joy Art Club is a project that aims to support free, accessible and inclusive art workshops for marginalized communities. Registration is limited to the first 30 participants.
