His fantastic quartet features pianist Tom Cawley (Peter Gabriel, Jamie Cullum, Guy Barker), bassist Orlando le Fleming (Branford Marsalis, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Billy Cobham) and saxophonist Graeme Blevins (Taylor Swift, Raye, Quincy Jones).
Jeremy Stacey is a British drummer and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his versatility across jazz, rock, pop, and progressive music. The regular drummer for American icon Sheryl Crow for over seven years, touring and recording worldwide. He later joined Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, performing globally during their early heyday. In 2016, Stacey became one of the featured drummers for legendary prog-rock band King Crimson, adding drums, keyboards and synths to their line-up and showcasing his adaptability and command across complex, multi-layered music. He has also worked with Tom Jones, Steven Wilson, Robbie Williams, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and many others.
Alongside his rock and pop pedigree, Jeremy retains strong jazz credentials, having worked with respected artists including Jason Rebello, Claire Martin, Mike Outram, Ivo Neame, Emma Rawicz, Ant Law, Laurence Cottle, Iain Ballamy, Jim Mullen and others. Whether driving a rock anthem or swinging through jazz grooves, Jeremy Stacey’s powerful yet nuanced drumming, combined with superb technical skill and deep musicality, mark him as one of Britain’s most impressive contemporary drummers.
Tom Cawley is a leading figure on the UK jazz scene, a pianist, composer, bandleader and educator of rare versatility. Born in Derby and raised in Lincoln, he began piano at age six, later studying at Chetham’s School of Music and at the Royal Academy of Music. He first made waves with his trio Curios. Their albums attracted widespread acclaim, described by critics as “extraordinary”, “spellbinding” and “a shining light for British jazz.” Cawley also tours internationally as a sought-after sideman and has worked with high-profile artists including Peter Gabriel, recording two albums and a live DVD with him.
In addition to performance, Cawley is a respected educator, he regularly leads the house band at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and serves as a professor of jazz piano at the Royal Academy of Music. With a style that effortlessly blends jazz tradition, classical roots, and subtle modern textures, Tom Cawley remains one of Britain’s most expressive and creative jazz pianists.
Graeme Blevins is a saxophonist and woodwind performer renowned for his dynamic and lyrical improvisation. Originally from Australia, he relocated to London in 2004, quickly establishing himself as a sought-after collaborator across a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, pop and classical music. His work has reached millions through streaming platforms and live performances, and he has recorded and toured with world-renowned artists such as Phil Collins, Mark Knopfler, Robbie Williams, Raye, Kylie Minogue and Taylor Swift. In the jazz world, Graeme has worked with Guy Barker, Mark Turner, Bobby Watson, the BBC Big Band, Ronnie Scott’s All-Stars and the Kyle Eastwood Band. His contributions also extend to Hollywood film and television scores, recorded at iconic studios such as Abbey Road. Graeme is a member of the Delta Saxophone Quartet and regularly presents workshops and masterclasses at prestigious institutions including the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He is also an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.
Among the most accomplished bassists in contemporary jazz, Orlando le Fleming is known for his virtuoso technique, creative flair, and unmistakably powerful beat, qualities that have placed him firmly within the top tier of American improvised music. Originally from the UK, Orlando first honed his discipline and teamwork on the cricket pitch, even playing professionally for a short time. His path changed when he earned a place at London’s Royal Academy of Music, where his lifelong passion for music ultimately took precedence. His move to New York in 2003 proved pivotal. Shortly after arriving, he joined Jane Monheit’s band, sharing bass duties with Ron Carter and Christian McBride on her album Taking a Chance on Love. He soon recorded with jazz legend Jimmy Cobb, and over the following years became a first-call bassist for leaders including Branford Marsalis, Joey Calderazzo, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Billy Cobham, Seamus Blake, Jeff “Tain” Watts, and David Sánchez.
