How does an idea become a business? How do I create value? How do I know what people want or are willing to buy? How do I know who these people are so I can integrate it into my strategy? All very good questions we will help you answer!
In this session, we explore the concept of business value and why people are willing to spend money for products or services. We'll also introduce methods and strategies businesses use to define a customer persona and a competitor analysis. Understanding the customer persona is a vital part of creating a startup. You will identify your different potential customers and then choose the one you will focus on, or target, to get started.
No matter how unique an idea is, there is always competition. Being aware of how other businesses are creating value and how to go beyond simply having unique value when compared to competitors is key to understanding how to serve a customer’s needs. We will show you how to analyze and compile this information, including understanding what is a direct and indirect competitor, to make a better business strategy.
