Did you know that visiting a college is termed “demonstrated interest” by schools and is one of the admissions criteria used to determine an applicant’s acceptance? In fact, “demonstrated interest” is one piece of the admissions puzzle that can give a student up to a 40% chance of being admitted over other applicants.

The college admissions process is a tricky one to navigate. Give yourself the best opportunity to succeed by joining us on this two-day tour. Join us as we head to Penn State University to visit one of the top schools in the country!

In addition to this incredible experience, A-1 Tours offers an EXCLUSIVE partnership with University Seekers. University Seekers is a college preparatory service led by a local college admissions expert. With their guidance, they market your personal profile to your dream schools. They stay in touch with the admissions departments to ensure your application is highlighted, giving you a leg up on the competition.

Day 1:
We’ll depart in the morning for a scenic ride out to Penn State University. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a casual lunch to get energized for the campus tour. The tour will be led by a student guide to give you a first-hand authentic rundown of what life on campus really is like. The tour will include an overview, campus walk, and Q&A. We will of course also make a stop at the campus store to pick up some cool memorabilia at our own expense.

After the campus walk, we’ll pay a visit to the Penn State All-Sports Museum. Even if you are not into playing sports you will have just as fun (possibly even more fun) spectating from the sidelines. Attending Penn State, you likely take a few games over your tenure whether it’s football, basketball, hockey or any other sports is totally your choice! The museum tour will also allow us a sneak peek at Beaver Stadium home of Penn State Nittany Lions (pending availability)

In the early evening, we enjoyed a nice group dinner together in the downtown city center area.

Day 2:
After breakfast depart for Hershey’s Chocolate World – this will be the “sweetest” part of your tour. Their first and largest visitor attraction is located in Hershey. We will take a tour of the simulated chocolate factory and learn of the delicious transformation from cocoa beans to Hersey’s famous chocolate bar. You will also get the chance to create your own candy bar.
We’ll enjoy a casual lunch in the food court before boarding the coach again.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride back home.
