About this Event

On September 19, 2026, we will be meeting at Central Baptist College for the 9th Annual Student Ministry Workers Retreat. Our theme this year is Reaching Generation Alpha. It is all about learning more about student ministry and connecting with others with a similar passion. There will be goody bags, snacks, giveaways, worship, breakout groups, and more. Your registration takes care of your lunch as well as a day full of training.

The first 100 registrations receive a goody bag. Those registered after September 1 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.

This year's featured speaker is Dr. Shelly Melia. Dr. Melia serves as the Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Ministry and Professor of Childhood Education at Dallas Baptist University. Prior to DBU she was a children's and family minister for over 25 years at churches in Oklahoma, Florida and Texas. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and co-authored the new book, Reaching Generation Alpha, with Shane Pruitt.
