We’re delighted to welcome Jenny Cooper from Leeds Care Association, who has kindly rescheduled her presentation from October, when she was required to attend a conference in London.
Jenny will be discussing the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) and cyber security, including:
- What the DSPT means for care providers and the requirements that apply.
- Why cyber security matters in health and social care.
- Protecting sensitive client, staff and business information.
- Practical steps to improve data security and maintain good practice.
- Keeping up to date with expectations and available support.
Also hoping to join us
Helen Cook from Personal Care Specialists, who was unfortunately unable to attend October’s meeting due to a family emergency, hopes to join us to discuss the Leeds Providers Forum and the benefits of collaboration between independent care providers.
Helen’s attendance is subject to confirmation.

Our meetings bring people from health, social care and community support together face to face to share knowledge, discuss challenges and develop genuine, lasting working relationships.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, but we follow a structured agenda to make the most of our two hours.
We encourage everyone to attend for the full meeting and join us regularly wherever possible. Trust and meaningful partnerships develop over time.
Did you know? CQC’s assessment framework recognises the importance of partnership working, including how providers collaborate with other organisations to deliver joined up care.
Regular participation in Stronger Together™ can help providers develop these relationships and demonstrate their commitment to collaboration, shared learning and continuous improvement.

Stronger Together™ End of Year Social Gathering
We’d love to round off the year by bringing everyone together for a relaxed, inclusive social gathering with refreshments, nibbles and good company.
No formal presentations, just an opportunity to catch up, celebrate the relationships we’ve built and enjoy spending time together.
We’d love a lovely full room, so let’s plan something that works for as many people as possible!
We’re looking for suggestions for a welcoming community venue, rather than a provider’s workplace, where we can all come together.
Perhaps you know a local café, community space, pub or other suitable venue?
We’d also love to hear what time would work best, including the possibility of an evening gathering.
