STRONG WATER
Like a good shot of its namesake, Strong Water "Americana with an edge". The Americana/folk band first formed in 2013 as a duo on a Virginia university campus before settling into its current 4-piece, of Gregory Brennan on guitar, JJ Arey on fiddle, Wilson West on banjo and Brad Rogers on upright bass with male and female leading vocals and harmonies.
After the release of their third full length album, The Hills, they took a hiatus prompted by the challenges of the pandemic and a serendipitous journey to Ireland for their lead singer. But now, Strong Water is back on the scene with a renewed passion for playing live. With the frontman's return to Harrisonburg, they're is hitting the road and the studio, ready to continue their musical odyssey. Known for their reputation as a "party all night" group unafraid to push the boundaries of traditional folk instruments, Strong Water is poised to bring their infectious energy to stages across VA and beyond for 2025.

Brookhouse mixes rock, latin jazz, and americana in a way that only the son of a Cuban-American and a lifelong Virginian could. Acoustic and electric, English and Spanish, earnest and mysterious, Brookhouse celebrates the mixing of cultures–and emotions–to bridge cultural divides and demonstrate that we all contain multitudes.
