About this Event

If you’re pregnant and have wondered what you’re actually supposed to be doing for your pelvic floor, core, or birth preparation, this workshop is for you.

Join us at Method Pelvic Health Co. (Formerly The Vagina Docs) for a relaxed, educational morning with pelvic floor physical therapists Dr. Jocelyn and Dr. Renee.

We’ll break down what happens to your core and pelvic floor as your body changes throughout pregnancy, how these systems contribute to stability and movement, and why symptoms like back pain, pelvic pain, leaking, pressure, or coning can show up.

You’ll also learn how preparing your body changes throughout pregnancy—from building strength and support earlier on to improving pelvic floor and hip mobility as you get closer to birth.

We’ll cover:

• How the deep core and pelvic floor work together
• Common pregnancy aches, pains, and pelvic floor symptoms
• Strengthening versus relaxing the pelvic floor
• Core pressure management
• Hip and pelvic mobility for labor and birth
• Simple movement and stability checks
• Birth preparation
• Postpartum recovery basics

There will also be time for questions at the end.

No workout clothes or previous experience are necessary. This is an educational workshop rather than an exercise class.
