Join me for a nurturing three-hour workshop designed to empower women in midlife and beyond to care for their bones, bodies, and overall vitality. As hormones shift, our bones need extra love and care. This yoga workshop will nurture strength, stability, and balance — from the ground up.
Did you know women can lose up to 20% of bone density in the five years after menopause?
But here’s the good news — movement, strength, and mindful practices can help you protect and rebuild your bones.
Through a blend of yoga, mindful movement, and education, you’ll learn how to support strong bones, improve posture and balance, and reduce the risk of osteopenia and osteoporosis. We’ll explore:
Yoga, Mindful movement, light Hand Weights, Practical tools for bone health & vitality.
Safe and effective weight-bearing yoga sequences for bone density
Techniques to enhance postural alignment and stability
The role of hormones, nutrition, and nervous system balance in bone health
Simple daily habits to strengthen your foundation from the inside out
Walk away feeling grounded, confident, and strong, with practical tools to support your health through menopause and beyond.
All welcome. Suitable for all levels of ability and practise, no previous yoga experience is required. Bookings essential.
We will use yoga poses & props as needed, along with breathing techniques, acupressure, meditation practises and relaxation techniques to balance, restore, heal, stretch, destress and relax body, mind and soul. We will discuss and explore the natural and allopathic options that are available as well as accessible tools and practises that you can take home to use, to navigate these changing waters, as needed.
You will be held in a womens circle with a caring community of women who are all moving through this rite of passage together, enabling you to share your experiences and challenges with those who can relate.
Your teacher Megan has been teaching yoga for over 20 years. She is a Registered Senior Teacher with Yoga Australia, and is a certified Menopause Yoga Teacher, accredited by Yoga Australia and the British Yoga Wheel. Megan is also an accredited Hatha Yoga Teacher, and a Level 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher
Please let Megan know if you are pregnant or have any injuries so we can modify the practise for you. Dress in comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. Leave at least an hour gap between a large meal and coming to class.
Please bring a pillow case to class if you would like a hygienic bolster cover. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat and 2 blankets to class, otherwise all equipment is supplied.
Tea and nibblies will be provided afterward.

Please drive down our driveway and you will find plenty of off street parking and the studio are located at the bottom.
