About this Event

The Strong African American Families (SAAF) Program is a seven-session program for African American youth ages 10–14 and their caregivers. SAAF is designed to strengthen family relationships, build on existing family strengths, and provide support as youth navigate the transition from childhood into adolescence. The program equips parents and youth with skills and strategies that encourage healthy decision-making and help reduce the likelihood of engaging in risky behaviors, including substance use.
