Strip Spelling Bee Royal
About this Event
We're kicking off the school year with an event that will get you buzzing: our strip spelling bee! Contestants will spell out a variety of words. If they trip? They strip!
Looking to compete? Reach out to us! We'll be looking for some eager volunteers.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. There will be an opportunity to purchase tickets for our 50/50 and an opportunity to submit words for one of the rounds for a charitable donation.
The Bee begins at 8:00 pm. Cheer on your favourite speller! There may be additional opportunities to participate as an audience member to help (or hinder) the contestants!

"What is the Imperial Court?"
The Imperial Court is a not-for-profit LGBTQ organization with chapters in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Chapters (which are known as “courts”) organize social events and charity fundraisers for the communities they serve.
“Do I need to be a member of the ICMLE to attend?”
No. Most of our events are open to the larger community. But if you like what you see, consider joining the court as a member!
"Is the venue accessible?"
Unfortunately LIVE! is located upstairs in a heritage building, which may pose some barriers to access. It does have a non-gendered bathroom.
