The Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir presents its second concert of this season: Strings Attached, on Sunday February 23, 2025 at 3:00 pm. The Phil is performing repertoire written for choir and strings. The program highlights classical composers from Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Fauré, to the contemporary. There is a special focus on Norwegian choral master Ola Gjeilo, whose music is a specialty of Maestro Klaz’s.
We’re thrilled to partner with a string quartet of local Winnipeg musicians including our own Vijay Chalasani, Manager of the Phil. These wonderful musicians bring a breadth of performing experience from across Canada and around the world. All of these wonderful threads weave together a beautiful tapestry of music that is sure to warm your soul on a wintery Sunday afternoon.
