Come one, Come all for a great show and a celebrate a great gal turning 47! Join me for wings and strings at the duck, featuring Mikayla Bortscher who is her generations answer to Tori Amos and Regan Spektor with their amazing songwriting skill but she plays the harp not the piano. If you havn't seen Mikayla live, please come and check her out for free! She plays at 7pm sharp. Stick around for the variety style open stage. I welcome folks to come and do 5 minutes of time, comedy, storytelling, poetry or music. Chris Lam aka Woonson Lam and Jude Mugford said they would play for people who want drums, and guitar or piano. Bring your instruments, we will have drums and a back line set up. Comics this is a show up go up, so come out and make us laugh. Corine will be hosting and doing poetry, comedy and folk songs as a tweener.
The Duck is a great pub with a nice menu and good prices. It's past the traffic circle on 118 ave across the street from the Nait parkade. Please come, bring friends and buy wings and drinks so the venue will let us do this again!
