The rail workers have shown it’s possible to stand up to bullying bosses and the Tory government. Whilst the media launches an ideological war against any workers who resist massive attacks to our living standards and terms and conditions millions know they are right to fight.

We now have postal workers due to ballot. In Bristol hundreds of care staff at St Monica’s care homes have joined the Unison union and are striking against fire and rehire.
Rolls Royce, a major employer in our city, are trying to impose a pay offer which seriously cuts living standards. Unite have rejected and will be moving towards strike action.
Workers in education, health and local government amongst many in the private sector are all potentially looking to join the fight.
We have had decades where overall the bosses have had it largely their way. Our union leaders in the main have failed to mobilise and we have all paid a price. How can we turn the tide and widen the resistance?
All welcome
