Join the Queer Mountaineers for a spring group hike at Point Defiance Park!Join us for a 3.3 mile relatively flat hike in Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. We will meet at the Rhododendron Garden, do brief introductions, and then get going. This hike is perfect for beginners as well as those with hiking experience. Come join us after work for some queer comradery and enjoy the extended daylight!
We'll hike rain or shine or cold- the trees do provide some protection from rain but please come prepared with raincoat and layers.
We will meet at the Rhododendron Garden entrance - look for the Queer Mountaineers flag.
Meeting time: 5:30 pm Planned hike start time: 5:40 pm

Gear Needed: Day pack with 10 essentials, food, water, extra layers, sunscreen. Prepare for cold, rainy, and/or windy weather - check forecast before you hike.
