Melody Zenith (LA)
Melody Zenith is a dark wave enchantress, mysteriously weaving melodies and poetry into dramatic, electronic soundscapes. Her sound is different from your average dark wave artist, featuring glossy walls of glistening synths, pulsing bass, and melancholy melodies. Her complex lyrics evoke gothic sensibilities, featuring themes of romance, darkness, the mythical, and magical. At the same time, there's an element of glamour. It's a macabre love letter to classic cinema. The retro elements are there both sonically and stylistically, drawing from eras long past and reviving them, placing them in a fresh context.
Melody was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and is the daughter of a legendary local Minnesota guitarist. Her pop music is inspired by post-punk, dark wave, industrial, and other forms of dark underground music. Early in her career, her cover of "Warm Leatherette" earned a co-sign from Daniel Miller, founder of Mute Records and the song's original writer — a rare and meaningful nod from the man who helped define the genre she draws from.
She released her first single 'Strangers' under Melody Zenith in October of 2023, and her second single 'Fame' in December of 2023. Since the beginning of 2024, she has been steadily building buzz in the underground music scene thanks to the hundreds of popular Spotify playlists that have added her tracks, along with receiving college radio airplay on over 25 different stations around the country, even landing a charting position in Portland. Her song 'Vampire' has gained traction through TikTok, and she has continued to release new material such as 'Kiss The Night' in 2025 and 'Chinatown' in 2026. Currently she is touring across the US. She is bringing an electrifying live show to venues across the country — featuring live synthesizers, dark theatrical elements, and polished vocals.

Acid Train (LA)
ACIDTRAIN is the electronic post-punk project of LA musician and producer Ryein Evan. Blending dark synthwave with heavy industrial beats, ACIDTRAIN creates a self-described “Doom Disco” sound; which combines energetic, danceable rhythms with bleak, existential themes. Their latest LP, Away I Go, was released on Lolipop Records in October 2025.

Candlebite (LA)
Candlebite is an Indigenous band at its core risen from Los Angeles. They formed with the idea in mind of giving representation of the existence of such vampyres. Late 70s/early 80s deathrock and post punk are the sounds they take inspiration from as well as playing with mystical theatrics and bringing in cultural elements and sounds. The lyrics touch on a variety of themes such as a mixture of resilience, nihilism, reverence, transformation, the dark gift, and often tell a story or set a scene.

DJ set from Vox Sinistra following bands
Vox Sinistra is a Los Angeles-based DJ exploring dark underground electronic sounds with retro and modern inspiration. In her work as a DJ, she has cultivated community in the genres of EBM and techno body music, industrial, New Beat, minimal and cold wave, forward-thinking electro and techno, and '80s synth music such as Italo disco, acid house, synth-pop, new wave and more. With a background in post-punk, no wave and related alternative and DIY punk movements, she combines sounds with rebellious spirit, nostalgic melodies, and avant-garde genre-mashing that stimulates bodies into movement for a cathartic and heavy dance music experience.
She is currently host of club night and label Strict Tempo, where she books an international selection of dark electronic artists. Vox is also known for her post-punk/'80s wave radio show Secret Meaning of Things at KHUH 104.9 FM from 2010 to 2020, shortlisted for Best Music Show - Alternative in the 2018 Mixcloud Radio Awards. She has been featured in Mixcloud's 'One to Watch' series, and her mixes have landed at #1 in Mixcloud charts for over 20 different genres. Around 2017, she was inspired to mix her underground '80s sounds with techno and electro, and is now focusing on making club sets for dark and dungeonesque dance floors.
