Stress Relief with Acupuncture Sound Bath Experience

Thalia de Jesus Dain, licensed acupuncturist, and Laura Degelmann, certified sound healer, are joining together to provide you with a unique healing experience by merging acupuncture and sound healing into one powerfully restorative session.

Acupuncture and sound healing are modalities that have been used to bring the body, mind and spirit into balance for centuries. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine technique that involves the insertion of needles into specific points on your body to stimulate recovery and regulate energy. Sound healing is an ancient practice that uses the power of sound vibrations to promote healing and well-being.

During the session, Thalia will place acupuncture needles into points that balance Qi and regulate the nervous system in a way that profoundly lowers stress, all while you tune into beautiful tones from a variety of healing instruments Laura will play during your session. Instruments may include crystal quartz singing bowls, Koshi chimes, drums, flutes, and shakers. All you need to do is sit back and relax while your mind, body, and soul receive the benefits from this amazing experience. Chairs and a limited number of massage tables are provided, but please feel free to bring yoga mats, pillows, blankets, eye masks and anything else that will help you feel comfortable and warm for a 1-hour session. Medical Considerations

Sound Healing: Individuals who have Pacemakers, Implanted pumps/devices, Epilepsy, and women who are in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy are advised not to participate in sound baths.

Acupuncture: Individuals with Epilepsy, Pacemakers, Surgical metal implants/plates, Pregnant or trying to conceive, and /or Currently taking any blood thinner Medic*tion (ie. Coumadin, Warfarin) are advised not to participate in acupuncture.
