Join us for the "Strength In Motion -Got Your Six 5K Run|Walk" commemorating Mental Health Awareness AND Military Appreciation Month in Hampton Roads. The Juneteenth Heirs of Excellence Foundation, previously 757FreedomFest, is excited to host the 3rd Annual Run/Walk to Mental Health initiatives and support scholarship funding for young women across the Commonwealth! Run or walk with your friends, family, and shipmates. The "Strength In Motion - Got Your Six' 5K Run/Walk, spotlights Mental Health Awareness & Military Appreciation Month. Organized by our Veteran-Led team, this event bridges the gap between our youth and military communities, highlighting how mental health shapes their journeys. Join us for a meaningful day that underlines the importance of solidarity and understanding designed to support the mental well-being of our future leaders and Heroes.

By joining us, you're not only advocating for Mental Health Awareness; you're contributing to the #DefyTheOdds Mentorship program, which directly benefits the mental health and wellness of our youth through our workshop series while powering our scholarship fund. Your participation sends a powerful message of hope and support to those facing mental health challenges -on and offline.

As a runner or walker, your entry fee and any additional event-based fundraising efforts are extremely valued and important. Your contributions will help us strengthen the capacity and sustainability of our programs that cultivate our community youth. Most importantly, your participation helps to raise funds and awareness to continue furthering our mission of empowering community youth to become more than they were yesterday, igniting a pathway to greatness. We achieve these initiatives through community service, our flagship #DefyTheOdds Mentorship program that culminates into the statewide Miss Juneteenth VIRGINIA Legacy Pageant, Code B.L.U.E, and other youth-focused initiatives.
