One of the most common reasons for hip pain and tightness is due to weakness. Learn how to strengthen your hips by engaging the surrounding muscles during and even outside of your yoga class. In this workshop, you will have a better understanding for the disproportionate ways we stress the hip joint and how including simple techniques can lengthen and strengthen the muscles of the hip. We will:
🦴Recognize the primary anatomy surrounding the hip joint area.
⭕️Use the full 360 degrees of the hip joint in a balanced way.
🧘♀️Practice how to get more out of the fundamental poses like Warriors and Forward Bends.
💪Build commensurate strength by using active range-of-motion (ROM) techniques to strengthen weak hip joint muscles.
This workshop is for all levels!
