Women’s health needs vary across different stages of life – from puberty, pregnancy and motherhood through to menopause. Understanding your body’s changing needs, and how to best support them, matters at every stage. Strength training is widely recognised as an important part of women’s overall health and is often associated with benefits for bone and muscle health as well as general wellbeing. In this one-hour session, you’ll gain an understanding of strength training, how it can support women’s and girls’ health across life’s stages, and how to begin incorporating it into your everyday routine. The session is hosted by Michael from DoDay Personal Training – Hobart’s most highly reviewed personal trainer.
