Swim 🏊 Cycle 🚴 Row 🚣‍♂️
Come and show your support and admiration to the participants of the Rehabilitation Triathlon, hosted by the Royal Navy, sponsored by AECOM and The Royal Marines Charity. A triathlon that will get the crowds excitement going as you see the pure determination and commitment of those competing in the event.
It is expected that 200 participants from the UK Tri-Services and Veterans will attend this event, along with International teams from the United States Marine Corps' and Royal Netherlands Marine Corps'.
The event will have full and sprint distances with participants competing in 6 different categories dependent upon the nature of injury and their physical ability. A team relay (2/3 competitors) event is also available over the full distance.
The swim will take place in the art-deco Tinside Lido. The cycle will consist of a time trial across Plymouth Hoe. The row will be static on rowing machines in a marquee positioned on the Hoe promenade.
The all-important Awards Ceremony will be held on the main stage on Plymouth Hoe, along with a performance from the amazing Royal Marines Corps of Drums.
