Streetlight Gallery Presents: A Call Home

Our inaugural exhibition, "A Call Home," is open October 4th. This is a celebration of Black artists in the Bay Area and an exploration of the home as a foundational space for creativity, identity, and change.

The home is where our creative journeys begin—a site of imagination, collective memory, and action. It's where we use what we have to build new worlds and practice self-determination.

Featured artists reimagine Black realities through their work, transforming functional objects and ancestral knowledge into tools for world-building.

Their art is a method of shifting reality and envisioning new possibilities.
