Discover the secret street locations of central Manchester with our guided group tour designed to boost your street photography confidence whilst revealing some of Manchester’s hidden location treasures. Led by  professional photographer Dave Laffan and renowned Manchester street photographer Alex Rusu, this experience will elevate your Manchester street photography to new heights.

We’ll explore the northern half of central Manchester, a vibrant hub of creativity, as we kick off our adventure at 10 am. Whilst strolling through the city's streets, tow paths and outdoor spaces, Alex will reveal his personal favourite lesser photographed 'secret spots', ensuring you capture the essence of Manchester street photography like never before.

And if you're seeking to hone your composition skills or master the play of light, Dave will be there every step of the way, offering invaluable tips to help you craft the perfect shot.

Celebrated for his mastery of light and shadow, Alex Rusu has been an active photographer on the Manchester street scene for almost a decade. Having collaborated with some of the UK’s foremost street photographers (Sean Tucker and Ovidiu Selaru are just a couple of the name drops), Alex brings a wealth of expertise to the table, ready to be shared with you, as he unveils some of Manchester's best-kept street photography secrets.

Founder of Let’s Click Photography, Dave Laffan is known to thousands for his unique take on photography education through the Let’s Click Photography education channel. Away from the training side of photography, Dave has established himself in both the commercial food & drink photography scene and the wedding & family portraits genre. Dave has been awarded the coveted ‘Gold Award for Excellence’ by the No.1 selling UK Bridal Magazine and featured in the ‘Top 25 UK Wedding Photographers for 2024’ in Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine. Dave has also won several awards of distinction for his outdoor Landscape Photography & Urban Photography work.

ALL SESSIONS START AT 10am in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. This is a photography tour. You should have a basic understanding of how your camera functions, however your tutors will be on hand to assist you if needed throughout the tour. This is a walking photography tour and good comfortable shoes are recommended. Duration: 3 hours (approx)

Equipment required: Any Camera. Lenses as required - recommended lenses might include primes or zooms which sit within the range 24-85mm (Full Frame equivalent). Fully charged battery. Lots of free memory. Phone camera users are more than welcome. Due to the nature of street photography tripods are not recommended for this course.
