About this Event
Join Nikon Creator and Melbourne Street photographer Daniel John for an immersive afternoon photo walk through the streets of Melbourne, exploring the art of street photography during golden hour.
Designed for photographers looking to build confidence capturing candid moments in public spaces, this three-hour workshop will guide you through observing light, anticipating moments, and creating layered street images enhance depth in your images. Along the way, Daniel will also introduce participants to a variety of Nikon Imaging Recipes using a Nikon Z5II, demonstrating how different looks and colour profiles can help shape the mood and style of your photographs straight out of camera.
As the day transitions into the warmth and atmosphere of golden hour, attendees will have the opportunity to photograph the city’s laneways, architecture, people, and everyday moments while receiving guidance and feedback throughout the walk.
Whether you are new to street photography or looking to refine your approach, this hands-on workshop offers a practical way to explore the genre alongside one of Melbourne’s veteran street photographers.
Recommended Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

A selection of Nikon Z series cameras and NIKKOR Z lenses will be available for trial during the session, along with a Nikon representative to answer your questions
