Join DASHR as we support our unhoused community, distribute food and water, and reach out to businesses about alternatives to policing. This weekend, we will meet in Rendezvous Cafe in History Colorado. We will have another event going on in the museum from 10am - 4pm and folks should stop by our table there as well! Event link: https://fb.me/e/2m5Fsv5VJWe are resuming our weekly efforts to engage our community and create networks of support for critical issues in Denver.
We need:
Street medics who can help serve and treat unhoused folks
People to help distribute water and snacks
Canvassers who can help us talk to businesses about alternatives to policing
This will include walking / traveling. Please consider your own comfort with regards to engaging folks on the street who may not be vaccinated.
