Street Art & Identity Walk + Creative Workshop at Camp North End 🎨

Join us for a hands-on experience of art, identity, and community in Camp North End! Take a guided mural walk and end with a Street Art Journaling creative workshop.

🎨 What to Expect

We’ll kick things off with a 45-minute guided mural walk led by an artist and Art Walks CLT, exploring the colorful and inspiring street art in Camp North End. Learn about the artists, stories, and cultural influences behind the murals that shape this creative hub. While we are walking, we will gather texture imprints and stamp them in a journal to create with later.

After the walk, we’ll head back to the Dupp&Swat studio for a hands-on Creative Workshop led by artist Carla Aaron-Lopez. Participants will receive guidance and instruction on creative journaling and perhaps use some of the unique stamped images from our walk.

All supplies are included—just bring your creativity!

Carla Aaron-Lopez is an artist-educator based in Charlotte and works as a curator, photographer, printmaker, and collagist. She is also a painter and muralist. Her journaling workshops are not to be missed!
