For those parade lovers out there, save the date for the Streator Labor Day parade: Noon, Sunday, Sept. 6, on Main/Park streets. Businesses and organizations can register to participate in the parade by following the QR code and filling out the form, or stopping in to fill it out at 320 E. Parade route begins at the train station on Illinois Street. Proceeds west on Main Street to Park Street, then north on Park Street (by the City Park), concluding at Kent Street.
Lineup begins at 10:30 a.m. Registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 2.
