Strawberry Moon. You know the name. But do you know where it comes from?The Strawberry Moon is June's full moon, named by Indigenous peoples of North America for the wild strawberries that ripen right around the time it rises. It's not a color. It's a clock. A signal that the sweetest, shortest stretch of the growing season is here, and moving fast.
We're marking it the best way we know how: a four-course dinner inside Wilson's Ciderhouse, paired with four drinks and a menu built entirely around the berry that gave this moon its name.
