Celebrate strawberry season with us on June 26th at our annual Strawberry Festival! Not only will Hillcrest Farms have fresh, organic strawberries for sale, but we will also have a performance by the The Habibi Dancers, strawberry scone cooking demos with Michiganmadetreats, seasonal strawberry specials, Kat Logan in a strawberry costume, and more! Stop by to support local farmers and food producers, spend time with neighbors, and enjoy the strawberry festivities. Plus, Allen Neighborhood Center will be turning 25 years old that same week! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and will be giving out free cake. See you there!
A huge thank you to McLaren Greater Lansing for supporting the Strawberry Festival! McLaren Greater Lansing is a tertiary teaching facility with 240 acute care beds, located in south Lansing on the southern edge of the Michigan State University campus. Among its services are a Level III Trauma Center/Emergency Department, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute, comprehensive cardiac programs, medical/surgical units, and state-of-the-art women and children’s health services including a modern birthing center. Also located at the healthcare campus is the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Greater Lansing and an Outpatient Care Center. McLaren is proud to sponsor the Allen Farmers Market, which helps provide healthy, farm fresh foods to their neighbors in Lansing and beyond.
