What changes when the camera moves in close? Truth. Subtlety. Connection. Lafayette native and professional TV/Film actor Evan Daigle (Claws, Daisy Jones & The Six) is coming to Wonderland for a 4-Week Acting for the Camera Intensive designed to help actors adapt their performance for the screen without losing what makes them strong storytellers. Using scenes inspired by Stranger Things, students will learn camera awareness, emotional truth, and how professional TV auditions work—from slates to self-tapes—while gaining insight into what casting teams look for in young on-camera actors. Students will take part in a professional-style mock audition, receive individualized feedback, and gain tools they can immediately apply to TV, film, and self-tape auditions.
When: January 24 & 31 and February 7 & 14
Grades 5-7, 10 AM - 12PM
Grades 8-12, 1 PM - 3 PM
