Strange Beautiful Music (SBM) is Detroit’s longest-running annual contemporary music festival. Held in Detroit every September, SBM runs the gamut of sounds - from contemporary classical and avant-pop to experimental jazz, free improvisation, electronica, techno, and music that defies genre!Now in its 17th iteration, SBM is harkening back to its early days of all-day marathon concerts with a single capstone event on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Andy Arts, featuring a stellar lineup of eclectic artists, all from Detroit.
Doors open 3:30PM and shows run from 4PM until 11PM. Each performer's set is 45 minutes.
