Sharing the stage for the first time will be the PNW’s favorite Celtic rock band Stout Pounders, joined by Portland Oregon’s own Celtic music superstars the Katie Jane Band. With fiery fiddles, blistering guitars, and even the great pipes, you won’t be ablet to stop clapping, stomping and singing along. Don’t miss this one of a kind show! STOUT POUNDERS
Stout Pounders is a Seattle-based Irish Folk and Celtic Rock band that infuses fresh energy into traditional Scottish and Irish Folk music while incorporating original songs influenced by genres ranging from Ska to Metal.
The band has shared the stage with renowned Celtic Rock acts such as Young Dubliners, Seven Nations, and Screaming Orphans. Since 2009, they have been the house band for Seattle's largest and most established fun run, the St. Patrick's Day Dash, and are a regularly featured band at the largest Celtic music festival on the west coast, Galway Bay’s Celtic Music Feis in Ocean Shores, WA.
KATIE JANE BAND
The Katie Jane Band features virtuosic, high-speed fiddling and Katie Jane’s unmistakable, authentic voice, backed by thumping string bass, full-bodied acoustic guitar, Irish whistles, driving bodhran, and percussive Irish step dance. Steeped in tradition and full of fresh energy, the band’s spirited performances keep audiences clapping, dancing, and wanting more!
Katie Jane is a renowned fiddle performer and teacher in Portland, Oregon. She was featured in the Spring 2025 edition of Celtic Life Magazine and was coined “the busiest woman in Celtic music today.” Katie Jane has been featured on live TV, the front cover of Oregon Coast Today, and was named “Best of 2025” by Irish & Celtic Music Podcast.
The Katie Jane Band tours the U.S. selling out theaters, headlining prestigious Celtic festivals and Scottish Highland Games, and sharing their signature joyful music with audiences of all ages. The band recently released their album “Wild One”- a wild collection of traditional, contemporary, and original Scottish/ Irish music that captures the energy of the wildest pub session while blending nostalgic melodies with layers of traditional Celtic instrumentation to create a uniquely uplifting musical texture; the quintessential Katie Jane Band sound.
