Stourbridge is set to sparkle on Saturday 25 November when the town’s Christmas lights will be officially turned on.A host of festive fun is planned in the town centre including a Christmas craft and food market on High Street with handmade gifts and stocking fillers and warming winter food and drink provided by Bescot Promotions.
There will be live entertainment on two stages, in Crown Square and Fountain Square, and children’s rides on Market Street including the ever-popular land train.
Black Country Radio will be keeping the towns shoppers entertained throughout the day with a fantastic line up of local artists on their outdoor stage.
Children can have a go at making Christmas crafts and decorations at free drop-in sessions running in The Ryemarket and Crown Centre shopping centres from 10am until 4pm.
The young and the young at heart can enjoy a free pantomime hosted by The Talbot Hotel at 1pm.
Elf will popping into The Ryemarket Shopping Centre throughout the afternoon before he heads over to the stage to officially switched on the town's Christmas lights 5pm
