Join us for a special storytime at your Flagship HPB as we welcome author Paige Murray to read her new children's book, Rosie's Wild Ride: Chasing Big Rodeo Dreams, which shares the story of an average horse with big dreams, who dares to ask the question, “What if I can?”

About Rosie's Wild Ride

Rosie the Clydesdale is a BIG horse. She likes her life on the ranch and helping the farmer with his chores, but she also has a secret dream: she wants to be a rodeo star. She finally gets her chance when she teams up with a plucky cowgirl named Oakley, but the rodeo events aren’t designed for a big horse like Rosie. When a rogue bull disrupts the competition, though, Rosie and Oakley might be the only ones big and brave enough to stop him.

From debut children’s author Paige Murray comes a rodeo adventure complete with roping, riding, and racing—based on real animals from her own Texas ranch.

About Paige Murray

Paige Murray is living her dream life on a ranch in Stephenville, TX with her husband Ty, a 9 time world champion cowboy, their two kids, and a whole bunch of animals—including a Clydesdale horse named Rosie. Originally from South Carolina, Paige earned a degree in Animal Science from Clemson University Honors College and after many exciting work experiences is now accomplishing her passion as a children’s book author. Paige’s favorite job is being a stay-at-home mama. Her stories are inspired by her daughter Oakley and stepson Kase and the lessons learned by growing up on a ranch. Rosie’s Wild Ride was her first children’s book.
