Craft Activity: Decorate small flowerpots, choose seeds for planting at home and enjoy coloring patriotic paper placemats.
* On Saturday, meet Ember the certified K-9 Caring Angel Therapy Dog.
NEW THIS FALL! Our "Storytime at the Memorial" will take place one weekday AND one Saturday per month. Join us this Fall at the Virginia War Memorial for educator-led readings of children’s history books and craft activities. Families welcome, suggested age range is for kids 4 to 10 years old. Every month is a new theme and book!
Preregistration is not required to attend and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This event, as well as admittance to the Memorial and parking, is FREE.
