About this Event
Join us for a joyful, family-friendly event blending storytelling and nature discovery!
Local author and climate practitioner Ruchi Shah will read her vibrant picture book Carbon’s Magic Is Everywhere, a playful introduction to carbon’s vital role in our world, from trees and oceans to our own bodies.
After storytime, head out on a naturalist-led walk and scavenger hunt designed to spark curiosity and help young readers explore how carbon connects us all to nature.
Signed copies of the book will be available at the Nature Store following the event.
This event is great for families with young children, and all ages are welcome! We recommend bringing sun protection and layers, comfortable walking shoes, and a filled water bottle. Portable toilets and handwashing stations will be available. Please register - more information will be sent in the confirmation email!
