A Ranger will read a nature themed book and then lead a short guided hike of our Glass Lizard Trail (0.2 mi). Anyone who enjoys books being read aloud is welcome to attend. Our nature trails are not paved, but strollers that have wheels at least 1 inch wide shouldn't have any difficulty going over.Seating area will be under a covered pavilion with picnic tables. Restrooms are available via a port-o-potty.
Event is free with park admission: $3/vehicle (up to 8 people) or $3/pedestrian or bicyclist. Please take a blue envelope from the yellow, metal box on the right side of the road just past the gates. If you have an annual park pass, please write your pass number on the blue envelope and deposit it in the metal box so our park can get credit for your visit.
