Author Janette LeClaire will be reading her adorable picture book The Tales of Fern and Arno and and also share her thoughts and inspiration that lead to her becoming an author. Join Arno as he uses his sniffer to solve the mystery of where his beloved friend Fern, the playful puggle has gone. Arno travels across beautifully illustrated Cheshire County scenes, exploring all the places where the two pals love to play, hoping each stop will end in reunion. But will his efforts be enough? ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Jeanette LeClaire shares her life with her husband and their children, a cat named Binx, and their beloved dogs, Fern and Arno. The family enjoys outdoor adventures with their pups, often hiking and camping in locales that inspire Jeanette’s stories. When indoors, Jeanette’s creative passions include quilting, knitting, pottery, and jewelry making.
A graduate of Keene State College with a bachelor's in studio art and elementary education and a master's in special education, Jeanette now serves as a special educator in the Monadnock Regional School District. The Tails of Fern and Arno began as a storytelling project for her students and evolved into cherished picture books for her family, igniting a tradition of love and imagination she now hopes to pass on to readers.
