A workshop all about the miniature worlds within our own. A chance to play, explore and create using the smallest of things to tackle universal subjects. Join Tortoise in a Nutshell's Co-Director, Alex Bird, and collaborate in a session aimed at discovering the joy and imaginative potential of working with miniatures. A session designed for people with or without experience of working with small-scale design.

Threads is our programme of workshops and events supporting the South-Asian community in Glasgow to try new activities and develop skills in theatre and performance. The workshops explore storytelling through multiple aspects of performance including movement, voice, character, design and more!

If you cannot attend the workshop or an event after booking please let us know so we can give the slot to someone else. Places are limited and we want to ensure as many people as possible can take advantage of these opportunities.

Who is it for?

If you identify as South Asian and you are curious about performance or theatre then Threads if for you! You don’t need to have any previous experience to attend our workshops and you can attend as many as you’d like or just one that interests you.

What to expect?

All of our Threads events are welcoming and inclusive spaces. Each workshop is 1.5 hrs long. Please arrive at 6.45 for welcome tea and snacks. The workshop will begin at 7pm.
