About this Event

It's Time to Tell a Story

Suitable for all abilities

Have a go at Storytelling in a very supportive group. You can also receive feedback if you wish. If you have an interest in oral storytelling this will help to build your confidence.

You can also "Listen and Learn" you don't tell a story with this ticket. Reflecting on other tellers will give you a lot of insight into what makes a good story.

There are five tickets for Tellers. You will have each get 15 minutes to tell a story and receive feedback. A story of 5 - 10 minutes is ideal to allow time for feedback. You will be in charge, you can ask specific questions and the group will be encouraged to respond supportively.

Storytelling Skills is a monthly event but you can join at any time. If you have a specific aspect of storytelling you would like to learn about please let Carmel know and she will try to set up a session to support you.

Carmel Page is a renowned storyteller who performs in large museums, around blazing bonfires, in spooky graveyards and whilst throwing teddy bears at her audience. She is passionate about storytelling and giving people the skills and confidence they need to fill the land with stories.
