Storytelling Open Mic (North Center)

People sharing stories with other people. No experience necessary and never a cover charge.
Do Not Submit is a series of free open mics around Chicagoland where people from all walks of life and backgrounds can come together each month to connect through the sharing of stories in an enthusiastic, supportive environment free from pressure, judgment, or scoring.
The venue opens at 5:00. Sign up list begins at 7:15.

Participants will have seven minutes to tell/read/interpretively dance their personal stories/folk tales/persuasive essay on proper flossing.
We will get as many tellers in as possible. ​If you arrive late, there still may be a chance to share. Listeners welcome.
Dining available downstairs before and during the event from Murphy's phenomenal menu. Drinks and food can be brought upstairs. Elevator access to upstairs.
Free and metered parking on surrounding streets. Brown Line is a 5 minute walk.
