Join Self Narrate and the Latina Women's League for our first storytelling meetup of 2026!
The theme of this month's meetup is Leaving Home & Finding Community. For the first time, we'll be featuring storytellers in both English and Spanish! At the beginning of the event, we'll share instructions to use Google Live Translate on your phone so everyone can follow along.
The first half of the evening will consist of stories that were submitted to us in advance. In the second half, we’ll open the floor for anyone who would like to share their story.
If you're interested in sharing or have any questions, please send a message to Self Narrate on Facebook or to [email protected] with a brief outline of your story (2-3 sentences). We ask for outlines to prepare our setlist, and so that storytellers can prepare and practice ahead of time—stories are limited to 5 minutes, and the time goes fast!

Por primera vez, contaremos con narradores en inglés y en español.
Al inicio del evento, compartiremos instrucciones para usar Google Live Translate en sus teléfonos, para que todas las personas puedan seguir las historias.
La primera parte de la noche estará dedicada a historias que fueron enviadas con anticipación. En la segunda parte, abriremos el espacio para que cualquier persona que desee compartir su historia pueda hacerlo.
