Storytelling as Healing: Princess of Pāua Join Dani Kionasina, author of Tusitala, editor of Moana: Voices of Our Ocean, and founder/director of Tagata Atamai, for a Storytelling as Healing ritual. As Dani welcomes Tusiata, her second poetry collection, into the world, her fellow princesses of pāua are invited to be rebirthed as confident, connected storytellers and wielders of ancestral wisdom. Dani has intentionally curated a sacred, feminine, and culturally-nourishing space to commune and co-create with artists of upu.
Those who answer this call will receive the following offerings:
~ A guided group writing session at Ūkaipō
~ An opportunity to cultivate nourishing relationships with like-minded wahine/takatāpui artists and writers
~ A soulful experience of collective healing through storytelling
