"Mean Dave" is a regular in the Bay Area comedy scene. He's performed at Cobb’s Comedy Club, the Punch Line in SF and Sacramento, Laughs Unlimited, Alameda Comedy Club, SF Sketchfest and other comedy festivals of note. Most of Dave’s life has been littered with the kind of utter disappointment and flat-out betrayal that only a sarcastic, sharp sense of humor can remedy. His cynical yet honest comedy has made fans laugh, cry and cringe -- yet people who know him say he is, "such a sweet person."
StorySlam Oakland is Oakland's longest-running true storytelling show, where people tell short and true stories from their lives. Or just listen and laugh. The theme changes every month. This month's theme is "Aggression." There will be about 8 to 10 open-mic storytellers and then we present our featured storyteller.
