STORYLAB is for everyone who wants to feel at ease telling stories, whether on stage, at work or to friends. For all who love stories and want to learn more about the art of oral storytelling in an informal, safe and encouraging space.
STORYLAB IS FOR YOU IF:
- You want feedback on your storytelling style or your stories.
- You want to gain more confidence telling stories and develop more storytelling skills.
- You like storytelling and want to share stories, but don’t know where to start.
- You'd like to tell, but don't know what to tell, and want help finding a story.
- You feel shy and want to feel more comfortable talking in front of groups.
- You don't feel ready to do anything yet, but are interested in storytelling and want to be around storytellers and learn from them until you do feel ready.
ABOUT STORYLAB
As a storyteller you want to make sure the story lands with the listener. But how do you do that?
Storylab works intuitively. What we do depends on the needs and wishes of those who are present. Each session opens with a short introduction into one aspect of storytelling before diving into practical exercises. Storylab teaches through doing exercises and tools based on your needs/wishes and the feedback you receive and give. In this way we delve deeper into story and storytelling skills, learning not only from telling ourselves, but also from listening to stories shared by others. You will leave each session with at least one practical tool to work with.
The Storylab coaching method creates a safe environment to allow for the vulnerability that storytelling requires. And to allow each person to learn at their own speed. The coaching sessions are suitable for all levels of storytellers, from professionals to beginners and even those who don’t feel ready to tell a story yet.

To make sure the coaching sessions are accessible for all, STORYLAB is donations based.
Suggested donation € 10 - € 20.

We’re a no-shoes venue, so remember to bring warm socks.
If you like snacks and drinks, bring those! We provide tea and pillows.

Can’t come to this session? No worries, STORYLAB happens monthly, alternating between the last Tuesday and the last Thursday of the month.
