StoryGrowing WNY Program Kickoff
About this Event
StoryGrowing WNY 2027 starts with a free event that’s open to all organizations interested in applying.
This year’s kickoff is a working morning. You’ll hear from Aitina Fareed-Cooke—Creative Arts Strategist, Poet Laureate of Buffalo, and founder of Get Fokus’d Productions—before you put what you learn to work during an elevator pitch workshop.
The morning closes with a facilitated conversation where organizations get to know each other, talk through what narrative change looks like for them, and find ways to move that work forward together.
Be sure to register early! Attendance is mandatory if you plan to apply to StoryGrowing WNY 2027. This event will be capped at 200 attendees. Due to the limited capacity, we ask that each organization send no more than two (2) representatives
StoryGrowing 2027 is made possible by the John R. Oishei Foundation and the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York.
