StoryCorps Studios x Hauser & Wirth

We’re partnering with national nonprofit StoryCorps to record, uplift and archive stories in New York City about belonging, home and migration as told in conversations between students, neighbors, friends, and family, in conjunction with the launch of Mark Bradford’s major solo exhibition, You Don’t Have to Tell Me Twice. We invite you to take part.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

In a StoryCorps recording, you share a meaningful, one-on-one conversation about home with someone important from your life. Conversations last 40 minutes, and a StoryCorps Facilitator is with you every step of the way. With your permission, conversations are archived at the Library of Congress.

WHO DO I RECORD WITH?

A StoryCorps recording is a unique opportunity to reflect with someone about belonging, migration, and to document history for future generations of your community. Consider inviting someone you’d want to honor by sharing this experience with them – a community member, a loved one, friend, or mentor.
