Story Trails at the Museum return in 2025 with two new stories for guests to enjoy while they visit the museum! Our second trail of the season focuses on two middle-reader books, “Bold Boys in Michigan History” and “Great Girls in Michigan History.” Sixteen excerpts from the books will showcase the men and women who helped to make the Mitten state a powerhouse. Discover how Simon Pokagon’s used the power of the pen to keep the history and culture of the Potawatomi alive or the ways the English-born, Michigan-raised Anna Howard Shaw fought for women’s suffrage.
This story trail will run from July 16th through September 28th and will be available in all four buildings. All trails are free with paid admission and these stories are designed for children 8 years and older.
