About the author:

Kayla Cromer, is an actress, voiceover artist, disability advocate and lifelong animal rescuer. She became the first person with autism to play a lead character with autism on American cable television on Freeform's "Everything's Gonna Be Okay". Voices Nickelodeon's first openly autistic animated character on "Monster High". After her role of Charlie on "The Good Doctor" she is now the first actor with autism to play an autistic lead character with autism on American prime time television.
