About this Event

Every third Saturday of the month, TMORA hosts a free story time for families and kids in the Fireside Gallery. Join us to hear a story by a Russian author and/or related to art and culture of the region, learn about artworks, and explore the museum with an interactive gallery hunt. Advance registration is required.

Saturday, May 18 | 10:30 – 11:00 AM

  • Recommended for ages 4-8, but all are welcome!
  • FREE | Pre-registration for children is required.
  • Free admission for caregivers as well.
  • There is free parking across the street (Diamond Lake Road) in the Mayflower Church parking lot.

Featured Book: Caps for Sale told and illustrated by Esphyr Slobodkina.

This popular and award-winning book tells the tale of a salesman and his troubles with a band of mischievous monkeys. Written by Russian Empire-born artist Esphyr Slobodkina, known for her contributions to avant garde art (and her brief marriage to abstract artist Ilya Bolotowsky).
